GRP5000 Tunnel Scanning System (3D)
The IMS 5000 incorporates an inertial navigation module on the basis of the GRP 5000. While scanning, the inertial navigation system records the track alignment trajectory, enabling rapid and efficient 3D data collection of the track and the surrounding structures and buildings (such as adjacent tracks, tunnels, and catenaries).
In addition to all the functional modules of the GRP 5000, this system can also be used to fit the central coordinates of shield tunnels and track centers, identify the catenary height, and recognize the rail head information of adjacent tracks. The IMS 5000 collects true 3D data, which can also provide a data foundation for 3D information visualization, virtual reality, and BIM modeling.

Fitting the Tunnel Centerline
It can automatically fit the central coordinates of the shield tunnel and export them to CAD drawings, which can be used as the final results for planning, completion acceptance.

Track Centerline Coordinates
It can automatically generate track centerline coordinates and export them to CAD drawings, which can be used as the final results for planning and completion acceptance.

Catenary Height and Offset Value
It can automatically identify the catenary, generate tables of height and offset values, and produce files in CAD format.



3D Visualization, Virtual Reality
The collected 3D absolute data can be viewed in the software and exported as point clouds in various common formats, which can be used for virtual reality, BIM modeling, etc.
